We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of innovative stormwater and onsite septic wastewater solutions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and capable of leading electricians on equipment retrofits across North America. This role involves overseeing installations at various plants and ensuring successful project execution.
Responsibilities
Lead equipment retrofits and manage electricians onsite for various projects.
Work on equipment installs and retrofits, wiring panels, motors, and sensors.
Follow UL508a and NFPA 79 standards.
Read and edit electrical drawings using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
Troubleshoot ladder logic in AB/Siemens/Automation Direct PLCs.
Utilize Microsoft applications such as Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Travel up to 75% for project assignments.
Essential Skills
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Ability to navigate ladder logic.
Experience in controls engineering and equipment installation.
Proficiency in working with motors and performing installations.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical/electrical experience (hands-on experience is prioritized over a degree).
Work Environment
This position involves traveling to various manufacturing and industrial plants across North America. You will work in a team environment but should also be able to handle individual tasks effectively. The role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with various PLCs and equipment while leading a team. Our state-of-the-art Engineering R&D facility in Hilliard, OH, provides a dynamic and innovative work setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $40.86/hr.
