Insight Global System Administrator - Secret Clearance in Hampton, Virginia
Job Description
As a Windows Systems Administrator with a security clearance, your responsibilities will encompass the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Your duties might involve managing the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running Windows operating systems, overseeing the Windows domain, using Active Directory, Group Policy, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, SCCM, PowerShell, VMware, and Centrify while maintaining the integrity, security, and the approval and processing of patches. This will involve interacting with users, evaluating vendor products, researching, and recommending hardware and software, as well as coordinating installation and backup recovery. As part of your job, it's essential to monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources and provide advice and training to end-users. Additionally, you must maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and leverage scripting and system automation tools to support ongoing innovation within the infrastructure

Skills and Requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in configuring, deploying, and administrating Windows workstations in an accredited environment
Proficiency with Active Directory and Windows Server functionality (GPOs, domain management, WSUS, etc)
Familiarity with modern desktop hardware specifications, including the ability to specify computing resources based on user requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to translate technical terms to layperson's terms and present them to audiences outside the organization
Skill in working closely with customers and suppliers to define expectations and mutual responsibilities
