Our FDA-licensed, state-of-the-art CGMP manufacturing facility for Gene Therapies is located on the Harmans/BWI campus. The campus, featuring two manufacturing facilities is located 5 miles from the Baltimore Washington International (BWI) airport and 13 miles from our Baltimore location (https://biologics.catalent.com/our-locations/north-america/baltimore-usa/) . The campus is close to Washington, DC’s I-270 Technology Corridor, top universities, and government agencies.

The Harmans/BWI-1 EMA and FDA approved facility, at approximately 200,000 sq. ft., houses 10 CGMP manufacturing suites, fill/finish, central services, testing labs, and a warehouse.

The Harmans/BWI-2 facility, at approximately 145,000 sq. ft., is under development and will house 8 CGMP manufacturing suites and cold storage warehousing.

Both facilities support Phase 3 through commercial manufacturing of advanced therapeutic products including AAV and other viral vector-based therapies and vaccines.

The Specialist in Compliance Training is pivotal in conducting effective and pragmatic training sessions on pertinent subjects. This professional ensures that training sessions meet specific learning goals, evaluate their impact, and implement strategies to guarantee learners attain the necessary comprehension and skills. Furthermore, the Specialist in Compliance Training customizes training approaches to meet individual learning requirements, ensuring the fulfillment of educational objectives.

This is a full-time on-site position, M-F 8am-5pm

The Role:

• Manages new hire onboarding, ensuring smooth transition and integration into the company culture and operational procedures.

• Designs and implements onboarding strategies aligned with organizational goals and compliance.

• Collaborates across departments to streamline onboarding and resource allocation.

• Monitors new hire progress and provides onboarding outcome updates to stakeholders.

• Gathers feedback to continuously improve the onboarding experience and boost engagement.

• Coordinates training logistics, including scheduling, room setup, and material preparation.

• Manages training records in both paper and electronic (LMS) formats.

• Ensures training materials and environments comply with cGxP and safety standards.

• Develops and updates training content (handouts, e-learning, facilitator guides).

• Conducts training sessions (in-person and virtual), including on-the-job training.

• Qualifies/certifies employees in specific skills and tasks, and trains trainers.

• Evaluates training effectiveness, learner capability, and incorporates feedback.

The Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, Training & Development, or related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for Biologics, Cell, or Gene Therapy manufacturing experience.

• Robust knowledge of GMPs, experience developing training materials, and proficiency in delivering training content.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Effective communication and presentation abilities with diverse audiences

• Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and the learning development lifecycle.

• Proficiency in MS Office and related PC skills.

The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $74,080 $101,860 plus annual bonus, when eligible. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
