This position is full-time. Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00am – 5:30pm EST time zone regardless of candidate location. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 2-3 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 9am to 5:30pm EST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • We offer 2-services

  • Basic system support and general program questions for participants, providers and

  • healthcare member services

  • Scheduling treatment sessions

  • Utilize phone, scheduling and CRM tools to manage consumer/provider data

  • Leverage established job aids to support, connect, and educate participants and

  • providers

  • Apply best practices in responding to health plan participant questions or concerns, and

  • ensure high quality follow-up in responding to member inquiries

  • Accountable for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs)

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience

  • Must be 18 years of age OR older

  • 1+ years of customer service experience in a call center setting

  • 1+ years of experience using Google Suite and Microsoft Office

  • 1+ years of experience using multiple computer systems and learning new systems as needed

  • 1+ years of experience working across various functional areas to resolve issues

  • 1+ years of experience handling multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to work full-time. Monday - Friday. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous healthcare customer service experience

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.

  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
