Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing in-depth, specialized consulting on compliance matters regarding areas of federal, state, and municipal employment related regulatory requirements (e.g., FLSA/Wage Hour; ADA/Disability; FMLA/USERRA/Leave Laws; HIPAA; SOX; GLBA/Privacy laws; WARN; ERISA, etc.).
Provides expert consultation to HR and the business community on HR policy and compliance matters by monitoring the external regulatory environment and by interacting with external regulators.
Researches and develops HR policies and practices, based on legal and regulatory trends, aligning with CVS Health values, while engaging stakeholders in assessing impact to business strategies.
Coordinates internal and external HR related audits and develops follow-up strategies and plans where necessary; develops strategies for ongoing compliance with business retention requirements as a government contractor (e.g., special reporting requirements, unique background check requirements).
Collaborates, while building a network, with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Centers of Excellence (COE) partners on delivery of system capabilities to support company tools, policies, and processes.
Creates and updates HR policies, documents, and communication tools to educate colleagues on HR policies and compliance requirements, keeping plain language in mind. Effectively involves the HR community and considers input from Colleagues and leaders in policy making.
Promotes employment related compliance awareness, education and training, monitor compliance with applicable federal, state and municipal employment related laws and regulations; provide guidance to HR Colleagues on Code of Conduct concerns.
Remains informed through various channels on employment law changes that impact CVS Health.
Oversees preparation and filing of regulatory reports.
Provides guidance to and aid in development of HR Compliance Managers.
Experience Desired:
7 years’ experience in Human Resources and/or employment law.
Strong problem solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Proven consulting, influencing, negotiating, and written/verbal communications skills.
Strong collaboration with the business, interdependencies, key stakeholders and partner COEs.
Knowledge of various company systems and tools used to ensure compliance of regulatory requirements, policy and process.
Knowledgeable in system behavior, complexities, interdependencies and downstream impacts.
Education:
Bachelors or equivalent amount of experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
