Job Title: Account Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our manufacturing clients' team. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of order-related tasks, provide exceptional customer service, and collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
Manage all order-related tasks, including entry, tracking, invoicing, and release for shipment.
Handle EDI orders and maintain relevant cross-reference tables.
Provide order status updates to agents and customers.
Maintain frequent communication via email to manage orders, inquiries, and follow-ups.
Gather and assess information to address inquiries and complaints efficiently.
Collaborate with departments like demand planning, pricing, traffic, quality, and accounts receivable.
Assist promptly with issues like damaged or mis-shipped items.
Investigate and resolve deductions.
Complete Certificates of Conformance as needed.
Monitor and maintain pricing levels and quotes across orders and product lines.
Prioritize orders based on distribution facility needs.
Manage regional territory and standard agent processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree preferred, with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing Sales Support Environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce
Strong relationship-building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Exceptional planning, tracking, and organizational skills
Strong mathematical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent multitasking and deadline management skills
Positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with sales support, order processing, administrative support, and order entry
Work Environment
The position operates within a cubicle environment that is part of the Electrical Team. The standard shift is from 8am to 5pm. While the office may not be the most modern, it provides a collaborative and structured setting for day-to-day operations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00
