ITW Administrative Assistant / Receptionist in Hatfield, Pennsylvania
Job Description:
Basic Function
The receptionist position represents Brooks Instrument to the public and the ideal candidate must have the desire to have a positive impact on our customers, vendors and visitors. The receptionist is required to have excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks. They must demonstrate a friendly and energetic disposition while reflecting the attitudes, policies, and procedures of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Answer multi-line telephone system in pleasant, professional manner using clear & concise verbal communication.
Connect incoming calls to appropriate party by acquiring accurate information to ensure call is routed properly.
Welcome onsite visitors in a courteous and professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
Issue/Collect visitor badges. Maintain visitor log.
Assist with administrative functions – (copying, scanning, filing, data entry, etc.)
Maintain appearance of lobby and reception area.
Maintain regular attendance and work well in a team environment.
Ability to follow all safety procedures.
Other duties as requested.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
A minimum of two years experience as a Receptionist or Front Desk professional is desirable.
A knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point is desirable.
Poised, confident manner under pressure and when prioritizing multiple tasks.
Proficient communication skills (both written and verbal) required.
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills are a must.
Experience managing sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner required.
