National Dentex Dental Lab Technician (Crown & Bridge Wax) in Heber Springs, Arkansas

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Green in Heber Springs, AR, for a Dental Laboratory Technician.
The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
Check correct alignment and function before beginning waxing.
Wax copings by applying correct thickness of wax to build design using dipping and carving techniques.
Check margins of copings for fit, smoothness, proper thickness, and correct collar design.
On bridge cases, wax in correct pontic design and connectors to doctor and design specifications.
After completing and checking wax copings or frameworks, affix wax sprue in the proper position and attach to sprue base for investing procedure.
Wax attachments for crown and bridge cases to be combined with removable partial dentures.
Wax copings with rest designs for existing or future partials.
Wax implant bar cases using various types of waxing sleeves and/or other castable plastic parts form the proper implant system.
Wax posts for post and crown restorations.
Fabricate wax patterns for temporary crown and bridge restorations.
Wax crowns with rests for existing or future partials.
Manage daily job task assignments to keep production running at high levels of efficiency.
Use past experience and successes to effectively trouble shoot and problem solve.
Review final work to confirm that quality standards have been met.
Clean work area daily.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain, and execute on written and verbal instructions.
High level of organizational skill with the ability to prioritize work.
Able to perform certain lab tasks as demonstrated during hands-on session.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be able to sustain production

Hand piece/small machinery
Additional related materials or equipment, as required.
Personal protective equipment, as required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach.
