ITW New Product Development Engineer Intern (Summer 2025) in Hebron, Illinois

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop drawing standards and templates.

  • Develop and evaluate PDM opportunities that can support the engineering department while identifying modules that can extend to other functions.

  • Build Resin and membrane portfolio for existing products that includes identifying and documenting all functional and physical characteristics and integrating that into the database that the engineering team is building with the support of the innovation center.

  • Set up the lab in EGV while documenting all the established parameters across different products.

Qualifications

  • 3rd or 4th year Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field with a strong, demonstrable interest in business

  • 3D CAD skills (Solidworks preferred)

  • Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning

  • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail

  • Time management and project management abilities

BA $15.10 $16.40 $17.40 $18.30

BBA/Bcom $15.30 $16.80 $17.60 $18.50

BEng/BSc Eng $18.30 $19.60 $21.00 $22.30

BSc $15.90 $17.40 $18.50 $19.60

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. As applicable this role will also receive overtime compensation and may be eligible for shift premium compensation.
