IIMAK Packing Lead - D Shift (Night) in Hebron, Kentucky

What you’ll do:

The Packing Lead is responsible for organizing and preparing all packing orders and ensuring on-time completion, managing packing personnel, monitoring inventory and overseeing machine maintenance.

  • Prepares packing line by getting and organizing the finish goods to run the line

  • Scans work orders into the packing line

  • Accumulates and organizes raw materials for packing to include boxes, labels and cores

  • Checks for overflow stock and pull from Kardex

  • Verify packing film on machine

  • Performs QC checks to ensure material is acceptable to pack out

  • Completes work order forms

  • Completes end of the day paperwork

  • Assistance with 6S Activities

  • Assistance with Continuous Improvement

  • Adjusting machine settings, infeed rails, side sealer

  • Operates walk behind material handling equipment

Who you are:

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Team player

  • Self-motivated

  • Worked in a manufacturing environment previously

  • Bbility to work and stand in a stationary position for an extended period

What you have:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Computer skills

  • Math skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Prior experience with material handling equipment

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 10-35 lbs
