Purpose of the Position: The Cell Leader leads operations within a manufacturing facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in precision cutting processes, and a focus on safety, quality, and productivity. The individual will lead a team of technicians and operators to ensure efficient operation of equipment, adherence to production schedules, and continuous improvement of processes to meet quality and cost targets. There are 4 Cell Leader positions open that will be based in our new state of the art facility in Hemlock, MI.
Required Education, Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of working experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing principles.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Soft Skills:
- Able to communicate equally well with various levels of the organization (engineers, production associates, and managers).
- Able to work in a team-oriented environment
