JOB SUMMARY
The Electronic Health Record (EHR) Support Analyst Intern will be helping physicians and clinicians improve patient care, increase efficiency, and solve many other critical challenges facing healthcare today.
Primary responsibilities include:
Assisting with facility's core clinical systems, testing, maintenance and implementations
Novice level understanding of troubleshooting clinical systems and support processes in place
Participation in local governance, change requests, and documentation for archival purposes
Full engagement with meetings, customer interactions, and presentations
The EHR Support Analyst Intern works under the guidance of the EHR Support Manager for Advanced Clinicals, and members of the Advanced Clinicals team. Interaction and learning from other Division clinical and technical teams encouraged as part of overall knowledge and growth within HCA.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule: Part/Full Time (20-40 hours) No Weekends
Status: Temporary
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: Far West Division Office, 2275 Corporate Circle Suite 100, Henderson, NV 89074 as well as local facilities
Introduction to roles that serve as key onsite clinical IT resources for facilities.
Awareness of facility core clinical systems and clinical IT activities
Learning initial triage and troubleshooting of customer identified issues via multiple platforms.
Participates in meetings as a member of EHR Support team.
Exposure to business culture, communications and expectations in various settings
Builds strong relationships with the team and among stakeholders (nurses, physicians, core team members, etc.)

Participate in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Interest in clinical operations and processes
Relevant experience from a previous field
Interest in Healthcare IT Operations
Strong ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing
Commitment to professional growth
Must be able to drive to assigned sites to complete work
