Responsibilities
Established in 1995, the St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation is committed to supporting the mission and values of Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican by conducting comprehensive annual and capital fundraising programs. The mission of the St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation is to improve community health and wellness through fundraising and relationship building for Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican. The Health Foundation is a non-profit organization as provided under section 501 (c) 3 and 509 (a) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax deductible in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Position Summary:
The Manager of Fundraising Communications is responsible for implementing and managing communications and marketing efforts to support the philanthropic vision at Dignity Health. This role oversees multi-channel communication strategies to advance the organization’s philanthropy goals, ensuring effective messaging and engagement with donors and stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage the development and production of communications materials for all philanthropy initiatives.
Recommend and support strategic communication initiatives to increase philanthropic gifts across multiple communication channels.
Create and manage content for foundation websites, including writing, coordinating contributions, editing for quality, and collaborating with photographers, designers, and vendors to enhance the user experience.
Develop and execute a social media communication strategy to grow audience engagement, with a focus on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, while monitoring emerging platforms.
Qualifications
Minimum:
A minimum of three years of experience in philanthropy operations for a not-for-profit organization is required.
A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred; however, a combination of education and additional job-related experience may be considered in place of the degree.
Pay Range
$32.08 - $46.51 /hour
