Description We are providing an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Lead to join our team located in Herndon, Virginia. In this role, you will manage the full-cycle payroll for our entities, ensuring accurate and timely processing. You will be playing a pivotal role in a wide range of payroll-related tasks, including tax filing, reconciliations, audits, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle payroll processing for the company, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time.

• Monitor and maintain accurate records of hourly and salaried employees across multiple states.

• Handle tax filing and reporting in accordance with federal and state regulations.

• Conduct regular reconciliations and audits to ensure the accuracy of all payroll records.

• Manage Paid Time Off (PTO) and garnishment reporting and filing to comply with legal requirements.

• Oversee the administration of the 401k benefit plan, including reporting duties.

• Handle unemployment filings in accordance with state and federal laws.

• Utilize the UKG software and MS Office for payroll processing and related tasks.

• Perform various HR tasks as needed to support the overall function of the department. Requirements • Must possess 7 or more years of experience in payroll management or similar roles.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is required.

• Knowledge of Ceridian and Crystal Reports is necessary.

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is crucial.

• Familiarity with About Time software is a plus.

• Must be capable of handling Accounting Functions effectively.

• Auditing skills are necessary.

• Must have a good understanding of Benefit Functions.

• Certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred.
