Location: Hershey, PA * Job location: Remote * Reports to: Sr. Manager, Media Experiences & Technology * Summary of Role: The Media Experience & Tech team creates experiences on all owned media channels – websites (hersheyland.com), email and social media. As a part of the team, you will oversee the entire digital content process, from ideation to publication. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, editing abilities and a keen eye for detail. * Role Responsibilities: * Project Management:* * Develop and maintain detailed content production calendars for social media, web content updates and photo/video shoots. * Collaborate with content creators, designers and developers to ensure seamless project execution * Monitor production and post-production timelines and ensure timely delivery * Identify and mitigate potential project risks * Familiarity with work management tool, like Asana * Content Editing and Quality Assurance:* * Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy * Ensure adherence to brand style guides, tone of voice and overall business objectives * Review content for SEO best practices and keyword optimization * Conduct quality assurance checks to identify and correct errors * Content Marketing:* * Write social media captions, web content or blog posts as needed * Contribute to the development of content strategies and editorial calendars * Work with the team to identify content opportunities and gaps * Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Understanding of content strategy and SEO best practices * Strong writing and editing skills across channels * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders * Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making for content strategy * Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and project management tools * Familiarity with social media channels and online trends * Requirements: * Education – Bachelor’s degree in media, Communications or a related field. * Experience – 3+ years of experience in content management, project management, editing or social media. #LI-TL1 #LI-Remote The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
