Job Overview

Performs high quality pediatric diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures. Provides conscientious patient care while adhering to all quality and safety standards. Prioritizes MRI safety and performs work following established safety protocols at all times. Performs administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling appointments, patient instructions, and maintenance of records. This position is responsible for communicating regularly with patients, families, and all hospital and community caregivers while following department expectations for interactions with patients and families.This position is required to be on call depending on the position's location.

Department Name: South Campus MRI Job Status: Part-Time - eligible for benefits Shift: 7am - 5:30pm on Friday and Saturday with minimal on-call requirements and opportunities to pick up additional hours, as needed. On-Call Requirements: Location: Anschutz Medical Center 1 weekday evening on-call every 3 weeks 1 weekend shift every 13 to 14 weeks: Friday 10:00 PM - Saturday 7:00 AM Saturday 7:00 AM - Sunday 7:00 PM Sunday 7:00 PM - Monday 6:00 AM

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited Radiology program EXPERIENCE: none EQUIVALENCY: N/A CERTIFICATION(S): American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Magnetic Resonance Technologist ARRT(MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT-MR) American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider
