Insight Global is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to join one of their top federal clients on a large defensive weaponry program at Hill Airforce Base in Clearfield, Utah. This individual will be joining the Information Services team and will be supporting the Mission of Strategic Deterrence through continuous improvements and innovation for the base, the Sentinel Program, as well as the Minute Man III. Some of your responsibilities would include:

• Manage storage systems connected to a Storage Area Network (SAN)

• Possess knowledge of block-level protocols, particularly iSCSI

• Administer Hypervisors using VMware

• Provide training across all departments for support overlap and cross-department end-user training

• Assist in root cause analysis and resolve application faults and errors

• Contribute to the development of recommendations for improving software support services

• Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures

• Update work instruction documentation and standard operating procedures

• Ensure assigned operating systems and applications adhere to all relevant Department of Defense (DoD) directives and guidelines, including DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) bulletins

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration or related IT discipline

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related IT/STEM field

• Active Secret Clearance

• Security+ Certification

• Experience in system administration, including designing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading Windows server and desktop operating systems.

• Effective communication with internal and external resources to successfully complete assignments or projects.

• Proactive management and prioritization of multiple related projects, assignments, timelines, milestones, and follow-up communications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve daily support tickets, including end-user support via phone, email, and remote control.

• Use DISA STIG checklists to evaluate and document compliance - Active Top Secret Clearance

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, related IT/STEM field

• Assist in maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting -Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

• Automate administrative tasks using scripting with PowerShell and/or AWS Console

• Have experience with Virtual Desktops

• Require experience with virtualization; VMware ESXi is preferred

• Use DISA STIG checklists to evaluate and document compliance

• Support large-scale deployments as an administrator

• Have knowledge of migrating or extending on-premises software to the cloud

• Prefer knowledge of AWS Cloud Platform (IaaS)

• Understand load balancing and failover technologies null
