Insight Global PC Support Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
Job Description
A enterprise level manufacturing company is seeking a skilled PC Support Engineer to join their team. This is fully onsite role reporting in Hillsboro, Oregon 5 days per week. This a 6 month long contract with the possibility of extensions. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ivanti Help Desk Ticketing System:
Assist in deployment, integration, and workflow setup.
Train and support IT staff on the new system.
Microsoft Autopilot Endpoint Imaging:
Deploy and configure Windows Autopilot for endpoint provisioning.
Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues.
Software Package Management:
Manage software deployment lifecycle and collaborate with IT team.
Test, troubleshoot, and resolve software deployment issues.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide support for hardware, software, and system issues.
Diagnose, resolve incidents, and document recurring issues.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Collaborate on deployment schedules and IT needs.
Provide updates to IT manager and maintain inventory records.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of proven experience as a PC Support Engineer, IT Technician, or in a similar technical support role.
Hands-on experience with Ivanti Help Desk Ticketing System (or similar) and troubleshooting.
Proficient in software deployment and management using tools like LANDesk Endpoint Manager, Intune, or other related tools.
Strong troubleshooting skills, capable of diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Microsoft Certified: Windows 10 or 11 (or similar certification).
Experience with scripting languages for automation (PowerShell, batch scripting, etc.).
Familiarity with ITIL processes or frameworks for IT service management. null
