Nike Senior Principal, Human Centered Insights, Jordan EMEA in Hilversum, Netherlands

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You'll collaborate with a cross functional team across the Jordan Global, EMEA, Insights, Data Science and Analytics teams to ensure your strategies meet Jordan opportunities of EMEA. Together, we will plan, broadcast, and track the results of such strategies to ensure Jordan continues to serve the sneaker, streetwear, and sport communities.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Consumer Insights expert to lead the Jordan Brand EMEA Insights & Analytics business. You synthesize insights to fuel growth in EMEA through both consumer and commercial capabilities.

SELF-STARTER & HIGHLY AUTONOMOUS STRATEGIC CONSUMER INSIGHTS PROFESSIONAL: A self-starter who can work across multiple teams, has strong history of building collaborative partner relationships; proven experience in consumer research having led all aspects of a project – from planning to in-field execution to insight delivery with a bias for action.

IDENTIFIES OPPORTUNITIES AND BRINGS PROPOSALS: Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors, and retail trends (valuing differences) ideally in the sports apparel and footwear market; with a demonstrated ability to develop deep understanding of business drivers and independently and creatively apply analytics capabilities against the highest priorities.

QUANTITATIVE & QUALITATIVE DATA: Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative data to synthesize complete insights, and drive business decisions.

CONSUMERS, PANELS, FOCUS GROUPS: Excellence in moderating and facilitating individual and/or group interviews; collecting & analysing data and driving insights to understand and shape customer experiences, merchandising, lifetime value, segmentation, digital marketing, e-commerce, or other business outcomes.

TRANSLATE DATA TO DECISIONS: Extensive experience synthesizing and packaging complex analyses and delivering results to non-technical audiences including senior leadership teams. Exceptional ability to understand complex topics, translate them into relevant conclusions & deliverables, and develop and deliver meaningful presentations, visualizations, and infographics.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION: Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to remain independent and effectively present complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience; Exceptionally strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including results packaging and development of management presentations. You foster teamwork, inclusion and dedication and in this individual contributor role it is necessary that you lead with collaboration with other teammates across functions.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Synthesize macro, athlete*, marketplace trends, alongside quantitative and qualitative data to drive actionable insights leading to strategies and concepts that will inform the brand, influence product creation, and drive EMEA business growth

  • Drive a consumer-centric culture to better service consumers, across Fields of Play (FoP) (Streetwear, Sport and Energy); integrating the voice of the Athlete* across functions (FOP, Merchandising, Design, Marketing, DSM, Global Teams and beyond)

  • Be the advocate for the Jordan Brand consumer in EMEA ensuring we are meeting their needs in an evolving marketplace by influencing analytics work done across functions: Nike Direct, Commercial and Reporting

  • Evangelize fact-based decision making at the Jordan Brand leadership table – partnering with EMEA Jordan Team, Nike Functional leaders and their teams to improve data literacy and elevate the role of insights to inform long term strategies and seasonal planning/execution

  • Align insight deliverables across CODE gates; communicating insights generated with cohesive, understandable and appropriate presentations and immersive experiences

  • Identify opportunities to drive growth aligned with EMEA’s strategic priorities
