WorkSource Oregon Program Analyst-Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD)-Grant Funded Role in Hood River, Oregon

In support of new legislation, Hood River County has developed a new position. With regard to the LEAD program, this position will perform professional level program and project analysis and high-level department support including research, public information, program administration and departmental planning. The selected candidate will conduct communications activities and coordinate with communications officials to identify gaps in public communication; establishing and maintaining a working relationship with community partners, internal support teams to include law enforcement or social service provider facilities. This role will oversee the LEAD Navigator role, ensuring that records are maintained and state and county reports are completed in a timely and appropriate manner. Applicants must have a Bachelor\'s degree related to social services or behavioral health and/or 3 years related professional experience; or an equivalent combination of directly related education and experience. Applicants must have knowledge of the LEAD program, experience with case management, resource acquisition, knowledge of community support options and referral pathways. Working knowledge of peer services, substance use disorders and behavioral health services. Have the ability to present information, respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
