Aston Carter Payroll And Benefits Administrator in Horsham, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Payroll and Benefits AdministratorJob Description

This position is responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll in compliance with federal regulations, state regulations, and company policies. It is also responsible for the administration and day-to-day activities related to benefits.

Hard Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience with automated payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred) and/or benefits administration

  • Understanding of the Regulatory and Legislative imperatives and impacts related to Total Rewards programs (FLSA, Sec 125, ERISA, 409A, HIPAA, etc.)

  • Experience with vendor-relations and multi-state employers preferred

  • Experience with Canada and Mexico compensation and benefits preferred

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Horsham, Pennsylvania and some days remote.

Work Environment

This person will work in their Corporate office in Horsham, PA. They will be required to work in their Warminster and Ivyland manufacturing locations each week as well, which are within 15 minutes of their Horsham location. They will support payroll for roughly 350 employees. They will work on a team of about 5 other HR Reps but will be the only one doing payroll. The hours are M-F 8-5pm. Dress code is business casual.
