Maintains with accuracy and timely submission of faculty travel requests and expense reports.
Administrative Operations
Provides administrative support to two faculty members, including the Clinical Medical Director of Apheresis within the Department of Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy. Provides backup coverage in the absence of administrative staff. In addition to scheduling faculty meetings, employee is responsible for the coordination of the weekly departmental meeting. Responsible for creating and posting Apheresis on call schedule. Composes formal and informal correspondence through email or written memorandums, creates and formats presentations (both timely and accurately) utilizing the most current available software for such.
Project Coordination
Assists with manuscript and abstract submissions to major journals. Requires knowledge of the research medical library, as well as End Notes and PubMed. Composes formal and informal correspondence through email or written memorandums . Creates and formats presentations both timely and accurately utilizing the most current available software. maintains faculty CV and biosketches; assigns PMCIDs for grant funded articles. Maintains compliance with NIH public Access Policy for faculty publication.
Account Reconciliation
Review and reconciles assigned faculty PRS development accounts.
Credentialing
Maintains updated licensures for assigned faculty members and assists with credentialing amid promotion.
EDUCATION
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE
Required:
Four years of administrative/secretarial experience.
With preferred degree, no experience required.
OTHER
Required:
Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
