Job Title: Flight Software Verification Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Flight Software Verification Engineer to write detailed requirements for verification and development of flight software. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing success criteria, developing test scripts, and working on verifications and test scripts using Python. This role involves authoring flight software requirements, automated testing, and utilizing trick-based simulation.
Responsibilities
Write detailed requirements for verification and development of flight software
Develop and document success criteria
Create and execute test scripts using Python
Author flight software requirements
Perform automated and manual testing using trick-based simulation
Collaborate with software systems engineering teams
Draft and author verification requirements and success criteria
Essential Skills
2-5 years of experience as an engineer
Flight software development and/or test experience
Software systems engineering experience
Experience in FSW requirement development
Proficiency in writing software verification requirements/statements
Experience developing and running test scripts
Automated testing experience
Python and C++ programming skills
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or related field
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with space suits projects
Familiarity with Trick Simulation
Knowledge of systems engineering
Experience with JAMA and Doors software
Experience with GitLab
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
