Job Overview
This
position
is
responsible
for
leading
a
team
of
Foam
Application
Specialist
(FAS)
teams
in
the
field,
safely
and
professionally.
Oils, dust, debris and other contaminants cause inefficiencies in heat exchangers and reduce heat transfer, leading to increased costs at refineriesthis
position
provides
supervision
of
the
team
that
cleans
the
tube
exteriors
(fin
fans)
that
make
up
heat
exchangers;
cleaning
them
removes
impurities
and
helps to improve equipment efficiency.
Working
conditions: outside, all-weather, in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Operators use commercial hoses to clean the top/bottom of the
fin fans or as directed with foam application. Operations requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to: Flame
Retardant (FR) Clothing, eye safety goggles, steel-toed work boots, hardhats and gloves.
Work
will
be
executed
in
the
field
for
campaigns.
Standard
campaign
shifts
are
12-14-hour
workdays,
7
days
a
week
until
the
campaign
is
complete,
and
all demobilization / logistics are complete.
Company policy is to take the 14th day of work as a day of rest.
This is a project-based, variable hour position. Training begins in February with project work expected between March and September. Little to no
