Job Opportunity: Maintenance Shop Manager

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Shop Manager who thrives in a hands-on, "player-coach" role. They’re seeking a leader who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work alongside their team to drive success.
About the Role
As the Maintenance Shop Manager, you will:
Lead and mentor a team of four technicians.
Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on McElroy equipment and related machinery.
Coordinate daily shop activities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
Manage inventory of parts and tools to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance proactively.
Promote a safe, compliant, and productive working environment.
Key Qualifications
McElroy Machine Certification is highly preferred but not required.
Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining McElroy or similar equipment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills to effectively manage shop operations.
Preferred Experience
Supervising or managing a small team.
Familiarity with environmental containment or related industries.
