Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Medical Imaging Director, the Manager is responsible for the effective management and supervision of the technical, clinical and financial operations of the Outpatient Imaging Center. Responsibilities include human resource management, billing and financial analysis, on-going performance improvement, adherence to state and other regulatory agencies, equipment maintenance, and budget preparation. Manager will also assume clinical duties as necessary and remain current with their applicable ARRT and TDH licenses. Position requires collaborative working relationships with other hospital departments, division Directors, medical office staff, and vendors. Manager will be expected to participate in the marketing of services for the facility, including development of new service lines via customer satisfaction monitoring.

EDUCATION, LICENSE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiologic Technology with an Associate Degree of Applied Sciences, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound.

2. Current professional registry required: ARRT or CNMTB or ARDMS

3. Current G.M.R.T. registry with the Texas Medical Board. (L.M.R.T. is not accepted)

4. Minimum 5 years directly related experience in medical imaging with a minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role.

5. Proficiency in computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point applications.

6. BCLS Certification.
