Job Summary:
The Senior Sustainability Technology Product & Data Analyst is responsible for critically evaluating complex project and program management information across the Sustainability Technology Program and provides data and insights in complex situations in support of the Director of Sustainable Products and Suppliers as well as the Sustainability Technology Project/Program Managers.
This role is responsible to ensure optimal performance across all Sustainability Technology Programs with a focus on those supporting improvements in both Sustainability Sales Growth and Sustainability Site Operations.
They help guide Sustainability Technology product development in line with program governance and controls including the analysis of a range of data and information to manage and mitigate risk across the Sustainability Technology program.
Supported by the Data Center of Excellence, the Senior Analyst, Sustainability Data and Growth, is a key Contributor in the creation and maintenance of new Dashboards required to execute and track Sustainability Programs and Initiatives such as: One Planet One Table item and salesforce performance, Donations and Food Waste, Volunteering, internal SBTi and ESG metrics, Packaging and Plastics, and Electric Fleet utilization and routing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates with Sustainability, Technology, the Data Center of Excellence, and other Sysco Organizations on creating and maintaining data products (dashboards, reporting, extracts, KPIs) that track and measure the success of Sysco Sustainability Initiatives.
Owns and maintains Sustainability reporting data products (dashboards, reporting, extracts, KPIs) and ensures timely, regular reporting cadence from data products to key stakeholders.
Key contributor to all parts of sustainability technology product development: discovery and planning, requirements gathering, technical design and build, testing, and deployment.
Contributes towards end-to-end view of all product development and can capably discuss requirements and developments needed with various platform owners throughout the Sysco tech stack (front to back end).
Tracks multiple Sustainability Technology product builds via JIRA and documents workstream requirements via Confluence.
Maintains and updates One Planet One Table (Sustainable Assortment) Merchandising Tableau Dashboard and National Sales Vision Reporting.
Maintain governance controls across the project lifecycle by supporting the process of verifying that governance deliverables and procedures are followed across the technology program.
Monitor and control reporting of high impact technology program risks, ensuring project owners have appropriate response plans in place.
Consolidates and documents the fundamental components of the Sustainability Technology program (Projects / Program scope, schedule, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities and issues, and quality requirements).
Serves as a translator between Business and Technical Teams when discussing Sustainability technology product/project needs.
Establish and manage reviews at appropriate points across the Sustainability Technology program, providing evaluations of program progress and key performance indicators.
Gather and review data and information from across the technology program to evidence that the information from the program is valid and provides assurance that programs are likely to achieve their outcomes.
Establish and maintain governance arrangements for the performance review of portfolios, defining clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities, including the inputs and outputs required to align with organizational practices.
Partners with Sub-Program owners to identify and resolve data inaccuracies across the aggregated Sustainability Technology Program.
Consolidate and document management information report packs with fundamental components of the technology program performance data such as (Budget / Cost, schedule, risks, opportunities, and issues) and provide as inputs to in-place governance arrangements.
Continuously learns and researches new techniques and methodologies (both internal and external) to solve Sustainability Technology program-related issues.

Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Education Preferred:
BS/BA degree or experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Required:
5+ years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst role.
Collaboration with a Portfolio and/or Program Office.
Excellent knowledge of product information management and master data management
Understanding of Project / Program Planning, and project management tools and methodologies.
Understanding of Cost, Budget Mgmt and Risk Mgmt including Forecasting.
Experience with developing and maintaining management information reports as well as executive summary reports.
Ability to effectively collaborate and influence people and Teams to gather information and remediate issues.
Experience performing data analysis, business process analysis or using analytical thinking skills to solve a business problem.
Comfortable discussing new data and technology products with all stakeholders (both business side and technical).
2 or more years' experience in project/program management, communications, analytics, with sustainability experience preferred
Solid PowerPoint, Word and Office skills.
Knowledge of Tableau and advanced data analysis through Excel.
Strategic thinker with the ability to work in a matrixed organization
Ability to work productively on independent research, data collection and analysis assignments and as part of a team
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and an outstanding ability to communicate with others at all levels of the organization

Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of food service distribution and associated supply chains preferred
2 years or more of experience in corporate social responsibility or sustainability positions for a public company, a consulting agency, or relevant experience preferred
Good understanding of various sustainable certification programs, e.g., MSC, Certified Humane, etc., as well as relevant global sustainability
Proven experience or passion for sustainability and climate topics
Familiarity with SBTi standards, including Scope 3 requirements
existing issues and emerging issues
Experience and knowledge of project-related methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile Methodologies.
Experience with project-related tools such as Planview, MS Project, Smartsheet, or advanced Excel.
Licenses/Certifications Preferred:
CAPM, PMP, APM, Prince 2, or equivalent qualifications.
Technical Skills and Abilities:
