Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Tax Specialist to join the corporate office of an Oil and Gas Operator client located in the Galleria. This person will be joining a team of 6 other Tax Specialists and will be directly reporting into the Tax Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, assisting with tax return preparation, and assisting with tax provision workpaper preparation. This role does require this person to have prior corporate tax compliance experience. This role will offer a hybrid schedule with allowing the team to work 2 days from home and 3 days in the Galleria office. This position will not only be responsible for corporate Tax Compliance but may also include sourcing data from SAP.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors in Accounting (or related)

Corporate Tax experience

Compliance Tax Experience

Tax Preparation experience

US Tax Partnerships (Must have experience in Louisiana and Texas)

Tax Provision experience

Experience with preparation of tax provision workpapers

Previous experience using OIT (Onesource Income Tax) and OTP (Onesource Tax Provision)

Experience with SAP (or related tools)

Proficient in Microsoft Office 5+ years of Tax Provision experience

International accounting experience

Masters in Accounting

Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions null
