What does the role entail?
The Painter Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel’s facilities, contributing to an exceptional experience for our guests. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including responding to service orders, managing and maintaining inventory of materials and supplies, and overseeing the completion of assigned projects. Strong communication skills and a consistent work ethic are essential for success in this role. This is a dynamic, hands-on position that requires the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
o Respond promptly to service orders to ensure timely resolution.
o Maintain and organize stock and materials used for painting, drywall, and wall coverings (wallpaper).
o Manage and complete projects as assigned, ensuring high standards of quality and attention to detail.
o Assist the Engineering Team and other hotel departments based on workload needs.
o Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing demands.
o Provide excellent customer service to both guests and associates, contributing to a positive hotel experience.

Your experience:
o A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
o Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within the team structure.
o Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
o Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances.
o Ability to work in the Sun.
o Previous related paint experience and knowledge is required
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in painting, drywall, and wall covering (wallpaper).
o Proficiency in basic troubleshooting for electrical, plumbing, tile, and carpentry is highly desirable but not required.
o Basic mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred but not required.
o Ability to work some overnight shifts and provide flexible support to the Engineering Team as needed.
o Open scheduling availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
