Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Electrical Technician for our 2nd shift . The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems within our compression plastic molding facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant maintenance to install, maintain, and repair complex electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems such as large molding presses, robots, assembly fixtures, drill fixtures, paint/finish equipment, conveyors, and general plant facility equipment.

• Install electronic-automation type equipment and control systems.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic controls, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, controls, and mechanical equipment.

• Make operating decisions to meet the department’s objectives.

• Conduct preventive maintenance programs.

• Participate in training programs.

• Work on projects such as panel building and rebuilding cylinders.

• Fabricate parts as needed.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience

• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems

• Experience reading blueprints

• Experience with volt meters and working up to 480 phase

• Must have own tools

Work Environment

Our compression plastic molding facility is clean and maintains a moderate temperature, though there is a slight melted plastic smell. The work environment includes the use of various hand-held tools and machinery, both manual and powered. The 2nd shift operates from 3:30pm to 11:30pm , with occasional extended hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of HUNTINGTON, Indiana .

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $70720.00
