Job Description
An employer is looking for a Senior Satellite Test Coordinator position supporting a Space Development Agency (SDA) project. As a Satellite Test Coordinator, youll be responsible for providing critical technical support to the team performing 24x7 Operations in Grand Forks, North Dakota or Huntsville, AL. You will primarily work regular day shift in a 24-hour, multi-satellite operations environment on a 4x12 schedule. Working in this role, , you will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that critical On-Orbit satellite and ground system test activities are properly coordinated, deconflicted, executed, and the results documented. What Youll Do:
Plan and lead On-Orbit test activities spanning multiple weeks with the government customer, multiple contractors, and Iridium operations personnel, including de-confliction of test objectives with other program objectives
Play a key role in performing On-Orbit test execution oversight, by communicating test steps and expectations with operations personnel, monitoring test execution progress in real-time, assisting operations personnel when they raise test related questions or concerns, and collecting and recording test artifacts
Identify, analyze, and resolve issues that arise during On-Orbit testing, documenting, and communicating solutions to all relevant stakeholders for transparency and continuous improvement
Provide regular test status to customers, partners, and leadership, both through verbal briefings and written reports
Work independently to generate test reports
Act as the primary point of contact between various parties, facilitating clear communication and updates, and ensuring all test activities align with mission and customer requirements
Prepare detailed reports on test outcomes, incidents, and resolutions, providing insights and updates to customers, contractors, and internal teams for informed decision-making
Develop and implement test procedures, ensuring all activities are conducted according to defined standards and that resources are used effectively during execution
$45/hr to $68/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
Verified Active Secret Clearance can hold up to TS/SCI
Bachelors degree in engineering or related field and 8+ years of experience
Experience with On-Orbit Test phase or testing functions within satellites
Experience working in Space Systems Operations and/or Space Systems Test and Development
Experience working in 24/7 Operation environment or military related environment experience null
