Insight Global TS Network Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama

Job Description

Provide engineering support for a complex network infrastructure with multiple classification levels for a Federal Government Client. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the IT lifecycle with design and engineering for new network solutions.

  • Resolving unresolved network issues beyond the first three support tiers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document network requirements.

  • Install, maintain, and evaluate network and communication systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.

  • Design network architecture and conduct feasibility and cost studies.

  • Improve processes for deploying and maintaining network infrastructure.

Skills and Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI.

  • A polygraph is required after start.

  • 6+ years in network engineering.

  • Expertise in troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues and supporting high-performance IP solutions.

  • Extensive experience with Cisco ASR platforms.

  • In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GRE) and Layer 2 technologies (STP, MST, VLANs).

  • Tier 3 support and issue resolution experience.

  • Proficient in network design and traffic engineering. Bachelors degree in relevant field

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher null
