Cape Air /Hyannis Air Service, Inc. Airport Services Ground Trainer in Hyannis, Massachusetts
This person in this position provides training for all airport Ramp, Customer Service, & Cross-Trained station employees. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with the training department team to ensure effective & efficient training Maintain regular communication with the ground training department to review station training needs, & schedule training classes as needed Report to our headquarters in HYA for meetings, training, & other business reasons, as directed Conduct classroom training & testing of station employees for Customer Service & Ramp assigned functions Ensure that station employees understand department policies & procedures Visit stations to provide training support as requested, needed, & practical Provide on-site training for existing & new airport services locations system-wide Maintain training records for assigned stations, working with station leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory & company training requirements Remain proficient in all station agent job functions & new enhancements Assist with the development, testing, & implementation of new technological enhancements that support airport stations & customer service functions, as well as training related to these new enhancements Maintain training records for vendor employees at assigned stations Work with other departments to successfully support training requirements Communicate with department leadership regarding any pertinent issues to the department & field Suggest ways to improve internal processes & safety Additional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Possess & maintain proficiency with airline computer systems & able to learn other similar systems as needed as well as ramp duties & assignments Proficiency with computer systems/software, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel & PowerPoint Enthusiastically support the company & promote company programs, products, technology & our department Able to coordinate cost-conscious business travel, including transportation & lodging, independently Have excellent written & verbal communication skills, particularly in front of an audience Have the ability & willingness to travel extensively to assigned stations & to support new stations & seasonal needs.
