Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for picking and packing inventory, following customer order sheets to locate parts for shipment, and carefully packaging products for distribution to customers. You will use SKU numbers to identify the location of parts in the warehouse and will be lifting 50 pounds continuously.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to use RF scanners and pallet jacks

  • General labor and production skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to stand on feet for the entirety of the shift

  • Basic reading skills

  • Strong attendance, punctuality, and communication skills

Work Environment

You will be working in an auto parts warehouse with about 22 employees. The industrial warehouse environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with concrete flooring requiring the ability to stand for long periods. The facility enforces a no cell phone policy on the floor, with phones to be kept in lockers. The available shift is Monday through Friday from 9am to 5:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hyattsville, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
