This role supports the delivery of Sage’s Compliance Programme, providing exposure to a broad range of compliance frameworks, business functions, and compliance initiatives. You will develop key compliance and risk management skills, engage with stakeholders across the organisation, and contribute to driving a strong culture of compliance.

As well as on-the-job learning, we also encourage all our colleagues to make an impact in their local communities, by giving them five fully paid days per year to volunteer, fundraise or do other charitable work through Sage Foundation.

This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Newcastle office.

What will the programme look like?

• Assisting with drafts of high-quality reports that are factually correct and accurately reflect observations made.

• Proactively engaging with the lead for each work topic, keeping them informed of progress and any potential issues.

• Developing and maintaining good working relationships with all areas of the business and third-party providers.

What will make me successful?

• A highly motivated individual with a proactive approach and a strong sense of curiosity.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels of the organisation.

• Strong analytical skills with an ability to assess risks, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements.

• Organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and work to deadlines.

• A keen eye for detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.

• A desire to learn about Sage products and the broader business landscape.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
