We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with extensive experience in Azure, Kubernetes and CICD. Candidate should be able to work independently, handle complex requirements, and also adapt to changing requirements .

The engineering work is primarily done using cloud-based services like Azure, AWS, and GCP, and it is therefore essential that for our engineers to be successful, they should have had experience working on cloud-based services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage highly scalable & secure network, storage, database k8s/containers compute architectures on Azure and on-premise infra.

  • Select the appropriate Azure service based on advanced compute, data, or security requirements.

  • Design, implement, and manage GitHub/GHEC CI/CD and accelerate software development and deployment

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and develop effective solutions.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for development, configurations, processes, and procedures.

  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually enhance our infrastructure.

  • Analyse and Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent

  • At least10 years of experience in the software engineering space

  • At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering supporting cloud applications.

  • Extensive experience in the following Azure technologies: AKS Key Vault ,Load Balancer, Function App, Firewall, Storage Account, IAM Roles, Azure Monitors, ACR, APIM, Azure AD , Log Analytics , workspace, System/Managed identity, App Registration, NSG, Vnet /Subnet

  • Extensive experience in managing and maintaining Kubernetes infrastructure in production environments

  • Proficiency in deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Kubernetes and application-level issues in a Kubernetes environment

  • Experience with Terraform code building Azure components using IAC.

  • Proficient with GIT to perform source code management and actions and workflows

  • Experience working within an Agile framework

  • Experience scripting with Bash or any Linux shell

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design

  • Experience with Kubernetes cluster monitoring and logging using tools like Fluentdand Prometheus

  • Worked with any observability and monitoring tools like Datadog, Newrelic, Dynatrace or anything similar

  • Experience in setting up automated alerting on Azure monitor or Prometheus or Grafana

  • Proficiency in writing and managing Helm charts for application deployment on Kubernetes

  • Familiarity with SRE principles

  • Understanding of alerting best practices, such as alert thresholds, alert fatigue reduction etc

  • Kubernetes certifications

  • Azure certifications
