Job Description

This new hire will closely work with the FusionApps product, Build teams and source control systems. This position is critical for delivery of C, ProC code for FusionApps. This position will help is in maintaining, handling databases for ProC builds. Databases are regularly updated to have HWM and compatible with development of code.

Responsibilities

The Fusion Release Engineering (FRE) team is responsible for providing and supporting high-quality frameworks that enable the Fusion Applications Development Organizations to produce, test, and deliver quality software most efficiently and consistently.

This includes development, enhancements, and maintenance of the build and patch generation system, tools and frameworks for audit, testing, and reporting for both Java, C-code, and Database build and lifecycle (build to deploy) as well as code line management. The work is highly technical and includes all aspects of software development from architecture and design to implementation. We work closely with Fusion development teams and Fusion Middleware across Oracle to ensure the highest possible quality of delivered code through the specification and implementation of standards and processes and the provision of tools, education, and support to the development community

Skills and Qualitification

  • At least 6+ years of related professional experience in DevOps, Database, C, Pro*C

  • Hands on Perl, Python, XML, JSON processing will be an added advantage.

  • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux

  • Provide technical support for production issues related to PRO*C applications.

  • Incident management and user support

  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Experience working in a continuous integration / continuous delivery development environment

  • Self–motivated and self-driven, continuously learning, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • B. Tech/M. Tech in Computer Science or a related engineering field
