Description:

We are looking for a friendly and professional Spa Receptionist to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our spa guests, you will create a welcoming and tranquil environment while helping guests book their treatments, register, and process payments. You will also assist in recommending products and treatments, promoting wellness, and ensuring a seamless spa experience.

The pay rate for this position is $16.50 per hour, which is the rate Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to offer. In addition, there is the opportunity to earn more through service charges and commissions from upselling products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule spa treatments, including deluxe packages and individual services

• Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, including payment processing (room charges, credit cards, and cash)

• Recommend spa products and treatments to enhance guest experiences

• Foster a calm, relaxing atmosphere throughout the spa

Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new programs and software

• Good physical stamina to stand and walk long distances throughout shifts

• Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight

• Schedule availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy environment

• Front Desk experience in a hotel, spa, or similar environment is highly desired, but not mandatory

• Excellent time-management skills
