Description We are in the search for a Cash Application Specialist to join our team in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The chosen candidate will be responsible for handling cash applications and processing customer payments.

Responsibilities include:

• Efficiently processing customer credit applications.

• Maintaining accurate records of customer credit.

• Resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Ensuring all cash applications are posted accurately.

• Assisting in the maintenance of customer accounts by updating records and posting payments.

• Collaborating with the team to ensure all customer applications are processed correctly.

• Handling any discrepancies in customer accounts and resolving them promptly.

• Working closely with other teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Adhering to all financial policies and procedures in place. Requirements • Proficiency in posting payments and managing cash applications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent numerical skills and an understanding of data privacy standards

• Exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of accounts receivable process and procedures

• Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to adapt and learn new systems and processes quickly

• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
