The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a healthcare practice in the Indianapolis area to add a Revenue Cycle Liaison to join their team. This candidate must be someone who can work in a fast paced environment. They must have a strong attention to detail and have an ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

HOURS: Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm (can be flexible with 7am - 4am)

Responsibilities for the position include the following:

• Serve as primary liaison between radiology practice and outsourced billing company.

• Manage billing vendor inquiries regarding denials, coding, and documentation.

• Resolve claim disputes and escalate complex issues as needed.

• Support patients with billing questions, including denials and payment plans.

• Monitor outstanding claims, denials, and A/R, collaborating with the vendor on resolutions.

• Educate staff on billing processes, insurance requirements, and pre-authorizations.

• Ensure HIPAA compliance, track billing trends, and report to management.

  Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in EHR SYSTEM is required.

• Demonstrable experience in Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in handling Appeals and Authorizations.

• Familiarity with Billing Functions in a medical setting.

• Expertise in Medical Billing and Medical Collections is essential.

• Experience in dealing with Medical Denials and Medical Appeals.

• Experience working with outsourced billing companies is highly desirable

• Familiarity with medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT) and HIPAA regulations.
