Hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Indianapolis, IN
Job Description
Is responsible for department shift schedules and attendance.
Ensure needed maintenance coverage for plant equipment in all departments.
Make recommendations on needed replacement of equipment/components, based on factual data from the CMMS.
Assign daily jobs and work orders at direction of Manager.
Manage / Support Department GMP, USDA, Safety and PSM systems.
Inspect jobs in process and at completion to ensure standards of workmanship and safety are maintained.
Help implement CI Programs to include Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Leader Standard Work. Suggest and design process improvements and safety improvements.
Qualifications
3+ year of supervisory experience preferred
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Able to perform electrical repairs such as motor wiring, motor starter fuses, and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs
