Job Overview: The maintenance technician performs basic and routine facilities' maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards. Following standard operating procedures, installs, inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems.

Must be able to train on 1^st^ shift before moving to 2^nd^ shift.

Responsibilities and Duties (Include but are not limited to):

• Follow relevant MTTM procedures and the MTTM Quality Policy
• Responsible for preventive maintenance of machinery/equipment
• Perform highly diversified duties: install and maintain production and plant facility equipment.
• Ability to work any shift
• Skills including: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
• Troubleshooting, welding, electrical, hydraulic, fabrication and forklifts
• Responsible for requisitioning own supplies for each job

*Minimum Qualifications: *

• 2 to 3 years in heavy industrial manufacturing maintenance
• Machine maintenance or relevant certifications
• Must have your own tools

*Preferred Qualifications: *

• 3 to 5 years in heavy industrial manufacturing maintenance
• Associates degree or relevant certifications

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach with both hands
• Communicate effectively
