Payroll Specialist
The Payroll Specialist processes multiple facility payrolls weekly. Assists our facility payroll staff with problems in a professional and effective manner in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and with federal and state regulations
What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?
Process Long-Term Care & Assisted Living payroll for various communities under the ASC umbrella
Audit Kronos Timeclock, all Bonus programs and any other Special Pay programs
Assist the facility-based Payroll Coordinators with questions and/or concerns
Make a difference in the lives of the employees we serve by providing them excellent customer service
Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required and/or equivalent related work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of Payroll Experience with at least one (1) year Long-Term Healthcare payroll experience is required
Knowledge with Federal and State laws regarding payroll
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Previous experience utilizing UKG Pro Payroll system strongly preferred but not required
Excellent attention to details as keyed entry accuracy and auditing is critical for this role
Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
