Warehouse Picker

Job Description

As a Picker, you will navigate a large distribution center to select items and fulfill customer orders. Your role involves:

• Picking the required quantities of items as directed by the voice system, and placing them into bins on your cart.

• The voice technology adapts to your voice and accent over time, aiding in smoother operation

• Pushing a large cart along an aisle

• Each cart holds between 12 to 20 orders.

• Your performance will be evaluated based on efficiency and quality, not merely the number of carts handled

Skills Needed

• Attention to detail

• Ability to walk for the duration of the shift

• Experience with voice pick technology (preferred)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Shift & Pay

• 2nd shift: 2pm - 10:30pm / $19

• No mandatory overtime is required,

• Breaks include two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Work Site

• This is a fully on-site position in the Park 100 area in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Environment

• You will be working in a busy and crowded large warehouse that is currently operating beyond its capacity, making space limited.

• The warehouse environment requires careful navigation and communication with other team members, especially in aisles.

• The facility is air conditioned.
