About the Role:

As a CBRE Plumber, you will be responsible for general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical, and distribution systems throughout a facility. This includes supporting steam and condensate systems, as well as managing various types of waste systems.

This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, dedicated to providing ongoing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on essential equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot water and medical gas supply and distribution systems.

  • Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures based on blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.

  • Ensure waste and vent lines remain in good operating condition, including managing systems for sanitary waste, stormwater, and other types of waste systems.

  • Support and maintain steam and condensate systems, including troubleshooting and repair of related components.

  • Assist other team members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.

  • Perform plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.

  • Provide training to staff members to enable them to perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.

  • Complete general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and summon extra help as needed.

  • Follow all activity policies and procedures, including health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

  • Complete all HSE programs and activities, including incident investigations, audits, and assessments.

  • Report any hazardous conditions that could result in accidents or injury to management.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma, or equivalent experience with 4-5 years of job-related experience.

  • Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level is preferred.

  • Medical Gas and Backflow certifications are preferred.

  • A valid Driver’s License is required.

  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • Excellent judgment skills and the ability to analyze multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to adopt new perspectives on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive attitude.
