Job Title: Product Development Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our Defense Engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, validating, releasing, and supporting transmission components and sub-systems for track vehicles such as tanks. The Defense Engineering team is divided into four groups: Current Products, Emerging Products, Advanced Products, and Customer Integration Engineering. Each group has distinct responsibilities, ranging from supporting current manufacturing lines to integrating transmissions into new vehicles.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, analysis, and validation of product engineering components and sub-systems.
Create and execute plans for pre-production product build activities.
Plan and administer engineering projects with other departments, customers, and suppliers.
Diagnose validation findings and develop response plans.
Guide the release of components for prototype and production products.
Provide technical direction to support personnel.
Prepare technical data such as qualification test procedures, acceptance test procedures, technical reports, and component maintenance manuals.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering HEAVILY preferred)
Experience with mechanical systems & components
powertrain/transmission components are a PLUS
3+ years of relevant industry experience in product engineering
Strong mechanical experience
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00
