Work Environment

This is a large distribution center, so the vast majority of the facility looks just the same.... a big warehouse. The place is BUSY and crowded. Currently, the business has outgrown the building, so it is a little cramped. At times if you are walking or driving equipment down the aisle you need to communicate with the other employee to let them exit before you are entering. Expansion to Whitestown coming soon. Shift start times depend on the department, typically 6:30am-3pm for receiving. NO mandatory overtime, and no guarantee that overtime is available at all. Breaks are two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch. Overall, pretty much all jobs here are very individual. People will have their tasks and are expected to perform them safely and correctly. THERE ARE NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED IN ORIENTATION OR ON THE FLOOR.
