Make a Difference
The Innovative Healthcare Collaborative of Indiana (IHCI) is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our population health team. IHCI is a joint venture between Community Health Network and Deaconess Health System. Its goal is to support our sponsors and partners in their strategic evolution to positively impact and improve the healthcare delivery system. The responsibilities of the Senior Data Analyst include organizing, documenting, and assessing quality and validity of incoming files, processed/stored data, and outgoing reports. The person in this role will use analytic tools to code and develop processes and outputs, maintain routine reporting functions, and promote advancement of data utilization.
The ideal candidate will recognize key components of ACO and VBC models and have demonstrated success in healthcare analytics. The individual will have experience that demonstrates teamwork, creativity, and working in a dynamic technological environment with the ability to adapt within a phased implementation approach. The person in this role must excel working in a rapid pace environment with a high degree of integrity, bringing innovation and intellectual curiosity to help promote the mission and values of IHCI.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication and analytical skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, data science, operations research, statistics, applied mathematics or other related quantitative fields required.
Master’s degree preferred.
One (1) or more years of experience deploying healthcare analytics solutions, to support success in value-based care and inform business decisions required.
One (1) or more years of experience in data analytics, data science, or relevant population health roles required.
Three (3) or more years of experience with health insurance and EMR (preferably Epic) data required.
Three (3) or more years of experience with SQL and multiple programming languages, including data manipulation and management required.
Three (3) or more years of experience in creating and using analytics visualization programs such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik strongly preferred.
This position will be a hybrid role if you reside within central Indiana. Hybrid expectations include in-person quarterly meetings per business needs.
This position will allow the flexibility to work remotely if you reside outside of Indiana. Community caregivers performing work remotely are permitted to live in the following states: Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Florida, and Texas. Caregivers are not allowed to perform work remotely outside of the above states. Applicants from other states may apply; however, if hired, they will be required to relocate to one of the above states within 60 days of their employment date.
