Sr Assembler / Electronic Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sr Assembler / Electronic Technician to join our team. This position involves assembly and testing on a wide range of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic products. The role requires working from blueprints, established process specifications, and both written and verbal instructions with supervision. The work schedule is a 1st shift 4/10 schedule from 6am-4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential for overtime on Fridays when needed.
Responsibilities
Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on sub-assemblies and units.
Integrate sub-assemblies into final hardware.
Conduct functional testing on assemblies and perform basic electrical tests.
Identify and rectify product defects and assembly problems.
Complete device history records and daily production logs.
Prepare reports documenting the assembly process and any issues encountered.
Inspect and test assemblies to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Follow clean room procedures and safety protocols.
Provide guidance to a team of assemblers.
Essential Skills
At least 3-5 years of sub-assembly experience.
Experience with small part assembly (Medical, Aerospace, Electronics).
Ability to test and troubleshoot at the component level.
Proficient in reading and writing in English (ability to read blueprints).
Knowledge of electrical assembly, soldering, IPC, J Standard.
Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscope, voltmeter.
Proficient in electronics testing, schematic reading, and electronics troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
ITAR compliant.
Ability to handle small parts and assemblies.
No heavy lifting required (10-20 lbs max).

Work Environment
This position is set in a great, small work environment with around 40 production employees. The job requires frequently sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and handling/grasping materials in manufacturing. Occasionally, it may require kneeling, bending, and squatting. The role requires finger dexterity, the ability to use a keyboard/ten key, and good eyesight for the use of magnifying glass and small parts.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
