Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Pega Reporting, Pega Platform, Pega Application, Development Pega Data and Integration

Location: Texas Or Remote. Candidate must be in the U.S

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000/Year to $115,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Pega applications to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.

• Oversee the design and implementation of Pega solutions ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.

• Provide technical expertise in Pega Reporting Pega Platform and Pega Application Development to optimize system performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Pega solutions with existing systems and data sources.

• Ensure seamless data integration and management within Pega applications to support business processes.

• Lead the development of Pega User Experience and Mobility solutions to improve accessibility and usability.

• Implement Pega Case Management and Decision Hub functionalities to streamline workflows and decision-making processes.

• Conduct regular code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Pega applications and integrations.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.

• Stay updated with the latest Pega technologies and industry trends to continuously improve solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in all Pega solutions.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in Pega Reporting Pega Platform and Pega Application Development.

• Demonstrate expertise in Pega Data and Integration to ensure seamless data flow and integration.

• Have experience in developing Pega User Experience and Mobility solutions to enhance user interaction.

• Show proficiency in Pega Case Management and PEGA Decision Hub to optimize business processes.

• Exhibit domain knowledge in Payer to effectively address industry-specific requirements.

• Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Pega technologies.

• Show experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers to foster a collaborative team environment.

• Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

• Be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a hybrid work model.
